The 2026 edition of Xylexpo, one of the most important international events for the woodworking sector, concluded successfully. This year, it shared its exhibition space with plastics and composite materials, creating a new exhibition path between sectors, technologies and materials.
For us at Metal World, it was four intense days, packed with meetings, discussions, and new opportunities. The event allowed us to present our solutions, engage with customers and partners from various markets, and share our expertise in the world of professional tools.
We thank everyone who visited our stand, dedicating their time and helping make this participation an important opportunity for growth and exchange. Events like Xylexpo represent a valuable opportunity to listen to market needs, gather new insights, and build lasting relationships.
Our CEO's reflections on the future of tooling
Among the highlights of the event was an interview with our CEO, Franco Paviotti, speaking in his capacity as President of the Tools Group of Acimall (Italian Woodworking Technology Association). The discussion explored topics related to the evolution of tooling, technological innovation, and the increasingly strategic role of tools in production processes.
As Franco Paviotti highlighted:
“The tooling industry has specialized alongside machine builders, panel manufacturers, and composite material producers, providing solutions through continuous research and innovation.”

This evolution has led the tool industry to develop increasingly specialized skills, accompanying the progress of production technologies and contributing significantly to the quality of the final product.
We return from Xylexpo with new ideas, new projects and the confirmation that innovation, competence and collaboration continue to be the pillars on which to build the future of the entire supply chain.
